Yesterday I had a crisis. I didn't call my new t because I was scared. I still feel like I need to be seen and have meds adjusted. There is a crisis urgent walk in clinic. Has anyone used one before? Was it helpful? I know I have an appointment on Tuesday and several appointments that I need to keep but I feel out of control.

I've been to one a couple of times. A social worker etc will ask you several questions to determine if you are in immediate danger to yourself or others. Based on that, will determine if they will urge you to be treated in a mental hospital. Otherwise they usually provide several locations to receive the help you need. However their is a slight chance you would get someone that doesn't get it, or uncaring. In that case request someone else, this is your life!!

Well I just had a frustrating time. I have to wait for the state to be seen. And I'm worried I don't know how long that will be.

I finally went in to the crisis center. Got an increase one on med and links to other people. I'm seeing and feeling hope.

That's great! We deserve excellent medical treatment just the same as someone with a broken leg or such.
