I am really feeling down today.
I worry that this is the beginning of a slippery slope into Depression (which I've managed to keep at bay for the year). I was triggered by a hurtful incident yesterday - as simple as realizing I was being spoken about behind my back only I was present no less. So I've spent the day feeling worse and worse about myself and my situation suddenly seems hopeless. |

I read your post on the PTSD forum. Chances are that your depression will relapse and you'll have to fight it all over again. I don't know how you started winning before but re-use those techniques that worked and work for this time around. Depression is one of the most prominent secondary diagnoses of PTSD. That's going to make this journey more difficult but know that it isn't impossible. There is a hope in this chaos.
I'm sorry that this happened to you and I'm sorry that you have to re-live that hell. I'll be thinking about you. PM if you just need someone to listen or just post on these forums, chances are that I'll come across them. |

That sounds frightening!
I hope the skills which you have used for the last year will help you find a way forward. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
