As the blackness fills the night just beyond the window, so the blackness fills me all around within. It feels as though there is a need to gasp for air, for I cannot seem to find my breath. Will this stop? Will the spinning in my head stop? I need for it to stop. I need for the silent scream to come forth. I cannot stop shaking inside or outward. Is anyone there? Or am I once again alone with all these thoughts and memories that will not go away. I am somewhere within this blackness. Somewhere between the gasps that are called breaths. Somewhere between this reality and time past. Somewhere lost----just somewhere----alone.
