I'm having a bad night. And yes, just yesterday I thought I was going to be ok. I was wrong.

I wish I could understand what goes on inside my own head.

Why do I have to be stuck like this? I try to do the right thing but always end up going back to bad habits. Should I have to keep trying? Can't it just end already..?

Unfortunately, it may always be a struggle. Some days are harder than others, I'd like to think the effort is worth it for those good moments that we have. Hang in there.

I don't know the answers to your questions, HalloweenSkye. Sometimes all one can do is to keep hangin' on for the sake of hangin' on...

But...what is the point? If it always comes back to this, what is the point?

This is a question I have asked myself several times.

Not sure why I stick around, but I'm glad to still be here. I'm glad you're here too.

Sometimes I think the point is to just not let "it", whatever that might be, beat us. My wife, my daughters, my few friends and others all have struggles also, and I refuse to stop trudging right on along lest I prove discouraging for them.
Thanks for this!

Dont let your emotions guide you, dont act upon them, look at them from a 3rd person perspective, keep doing it, and one day you will be able to switch them off just by being aware of them
Thanks for this!
