I don't think my medication is working. I talked to my phycologist about my symptoms and she didn't even know I was on medication. When she found out that I actually was, she was shocked. I just want to get on something that works! I'd do anything to feel better. Also, why can't anyone tell that I'm depressed??????? I feel like I don't get enough support. It's so unfair. I wish people knew how strong I am, people seem to think I'm weak when I have an anxiety attack or an emotional breakdown

I'll put it out there right now, you're not weak. Not at all. You're strong for continuing to try and seek help and a solution. If people think that, screw 'em. They don't really know you and the truth is, no one ever will. You're the expert in your own life and you know you're strong, so listen to you. A lot of people stay in denial about what they don't understand and/or don't want to know. Though, I'm sorry people in your life can't get passed that to see you're depressed. I hope the medication gets worked out, hopefully your T can provide valuable input on this subject. Who's ever prescribing the meds should have good contact with your T about it all, as it can alter the progress of therapy.

You're new here and I welcome you to PC. This is a good spot and I think you'll fit right in. Best of luck.

Get in to see a psychiatrist and get a med change. Yes, they can stop working after a amount of time. Been there, done that. More than once.
