I'm sorry I cannot provide you with definitions for these conditions. Perhaps reading some of the articles in PC's "Conditions" listing will be of some help? I'm sorry you are feeling so confused...

Hi Cindy I think here on PsychCentral you will discover you are not different than everyone else, there are a lot of people that share your symptoms and your diagnosis. Sometimes just that knowledge can be helpful. I can also recommend a support group like DBSA (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance) if there is a meeting in your area, there are no professionals there it is just a peer group where you can listen and talk if you want to and hear how other people deal with their symptoms and what different types of treatments work for them. Again, sometimes just being with fellow sufferers and knowing you are not alone can be helpful. Good luck.
