Ok so here's the story. I'm living with my dad (No problem on that) and my older sister who's a narcissistic and her 1 mouth old son. I just started dating a man who's just fresh out of a divorce. Thanks to the abuse from my sister and dating I've been having some crazy ups and downs the last mouth. One moment of happiness the next fear of rejection . I'm just needing some support.

There is no greater fear than the sight of a narcissist, and you've already faced that fear many times.
See how that statement suits you, it's based on my personal knowledge and experience. |

You should make a list of things to do or people to see for the week alone. I go nuts if I'm bored and depressed, because I think distracting yourself makes it get better. I've got a big collection of horror movies, but of course that's just one example out of many more things you could try.
Anyway, my friend who I met in college really likes playing pool. We know other people with disabilities who also like to play pool, although maybe the league style 'points' thing my friend conjured up is a bit silly, because not everybody attends the practice sessions, and so they could easily fall behind. Again, this is just an example. If you can find just that one thing you enjoy, I say stick at it and go about trying to somehow meet people with a similar taste in activities. Have you heard of a website called Meetup? You can look up groups meeting up locally who may share your common interests. |
