Feeling so low it physically hurts and very hopeless. I've had two people come up to me at work in past week to ask me if I was okay because I looked sad... If they only knew

Regardless your depression, are you healthy? I am asking this because I was like you. I had a physical illness in addition to my depression. That was confusing for some time, so I thought it was just my depression, until I got gravely ill and I had to be hospitalized.

No major illnesses I know of. I have hypothyroidism which I know can sometimes go along with depression, but nothing else. I just feel like I don't want to be here, mentally, emotionally and physically
