 Depression can convince us that we are the lowest of the low and have nothing to offer, but it is just NOT true. It is extremely hard to see that when you are feeling so down though. You do have things to offer, and I hope your depression goes away ASAP so that you are able to see that. |

We've never chatted. You don't know me. But, I know I've gained a lot from this forum just reading and learning the issues people are dealing with everyday. It gives me strength and encouragement to keep on keeping on.
If you feel you need a break, that's understandable. I just ask that you check in from time to time. Even if you stop by to read it will remind you "You are not alone." Participate when you can, but take of YOU first and foremost.

That's a good question, Clara....I know when I wrote it that I wasn't looking for assurances or any words or opinions to the contrary.
Sometimes, you simply have to make a statement in writing so that you know it's a real feeling and less of a fleeting thought. Perhaps I was speaking about being anywhere. |

I recently bought a tshirt with the quote on it saying "I don't want to be here, I don't want to be there, I don't want to be anywhere"
Is it a case of you shouldn't be here/there/anywhere or a case of not wanting to be? Either way..hugs to you. I like that you aren't afraid to say just how it is ((((((Sophiesmom)))))))
