I had tried most ssris and supplements and had some relief at times, but mostly still depressed. My depression caused me to drop out of college, never keep a job, suicide attempts, etc. I have been on remeron or mirtazapine for a couple weeks along with wellbutrin and I actually feel kind of happy. I still lack some motivation but it's only been two weeks on these meds. I researched remeron and it's actually more effective than all of the other ssris. I would highly recommend trying it. The only downside is you get very hungry.
