We need to kill the person we used to be. Coz what we were, still are, isn't working anymore, is it? and it hasn't worked for quite some time now, hasn't it?
We need to kill it so that something new can grow from its ashes.

We dream. From the moment we open our eyes for the first time and drift off to sleep to the sound of our mother's lullabies. Dreams become a part of us, we nurse them into life and they become these beings that start to co-exist inside us, give us direction, and hope. But when the mind gets depressed, those dreams start to suffocate and die. and we try to hang on to them coz we dont know know who we are, and what we will do without them.

But we gotta let go of the old dreams that are dying. Maybe Its time to dream again.

When I'm depressed I'm usually convinced that I used to live in a fantasy world, and that only in that imaginary space could I be myself.
Depression (or real life??) tells me that I'm suffering because I've now realised this. That I wasted my life dreaming and that the dream can never become real.

But maybe this is the only way (at least for me) to deal with life. Maybe the dream IS part of reality. Maybe it's okay to dream, maybe it's even unavoidable. Maybe dreaming is not rejecting life, but rejecting the dream means actually rejecting life.

Hmm...

I agree it's time to dream again. New dreams that take in account this major deviation (MI) in my life.

Exactly. I feel like the dreams we set too early in life, are based on whatever the world considers as " living the dream". and those are always Impossible dreams, demanding perfection in everything, with no room for failure. which just isn't right, its unnatural. I think from here on we could, and should do what makes us happy. Allow ourselves to dream as big as our soul desires, yet giving it the freedom to err and mistake at the same time.
