No! fuuuck depression. It doesn't get to win.
When I have felt like giving up and have nothing I can see to fight for anymore I choose to get better out of spite. Depression can go suck it- you will kick its asss one of these days. Hold on. I'm sending you some good thoughts.

NO, you don't! May be your energy is low, but still you have energy enough to fight just a little bit, and then another step, and another until you are able to feel better!

Believe me! I have been there ...

Thanks for this!

Hi Keikster

I'm really sorry you're finding things so tough, and I know it can be tough
It might feel like depression is winning/has won right now...........but that doesn't mean the battle has to be over, you are still in there and you are worth fighting for
Sometimes it can feel so hard/impossible to "push it away", sometimes it just is what it is and there's nothing you can do, but it doesn't need to have won at those times because there is still later, still tomorrow, the next day, the next week..........there is still time and it needn't always have to be this bad
It might feel like you've no strength at all to fight it anymore but why not let us help you build/regain some of that strength that is inside you, remember you don't have to face/fight this on your own, we're here with you too

And..........over to you.........if you want to talk a bit more about what's going on for you............if/whenever you're ready............

Alison

Thanks. I hope so. The last half of my life was lost to depression. I missed out on middle school, high-school, and so far what was suppose to be my college years. It just doesn't seem like I'll ever get better
