No need for bottles. Hope is always around. It lives free in the air around us.

The problem is that our depression keeps the abundance of hope off in our periferal vision. Worse than not existing, it appears to exist but just out of our reach. The distance is an illusion, like objects in the rear view mirror of a car. The illusion is that it is beyond our grasp, which keeps us from reaching for it.

Its there for you... for both of you. Sometimes we need help to find it. Sometimes the act of getting that help provides the hope we need in the very act itself.

Keep reaching. And when you do grab some, do bring some back for others. It works best when it is shared. That can be what we need to begin to find it for ourselves.

I hope you're right, dexter. I can't do this alone again. Having someone there for you is always helpful, and sometimes the very thing that can save your life.
