I've lost two fur babies in the last month. I'm heartbroken. They were my babies, my support system. I'm at a loss without them. One was 15 and the other one was 14. Those who don't know the comfort a dog can bring won't understand the depth of my pain but those who have had the comfort of an animal will. My heart goes out to all who have lost a pet.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have a beagle that I'm crazy about. I cuddle with him when I'm having really bad days. Don't know what I'd do if I lost him or my cat. Again condolences on your loss.

I am so, so sorry for your traumatic losses, gayleggg. Over the winter of 2015 I lost five furbabies...the pain is excruciating. Take care and please be kind to yourself.

My dog  mastered the "fetch" command. He would communicate he wanted something, and I would fetch it.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my dog in 2015 and I still grieve for him.
