most of my family either don't really understand my mental health problems or don't really want to or maybe just sick of hearing about it whatever the case I am pig sick of having to put on a front all the time and pretending everything is ok when its not !!!! why should I have to do this? why do I feel I have to , it makes me feel like ****

I'm sorry you're having a tough time. Fortunately, I only have one family member who I have to put a smile on my face for but I resent it and it hurts that she's not supportive. You're not alone. We should be able to show it instead of fake smiles which only make us feel worse. Thinking of you....

God, I can sooo relate. I really, really can. So sorry you feel this way. It's exceptionally tough when you don't even feel you can be honest about what you're going through with your own family. If nowhere else, I believe you should feel safe to fall in the arms of family and trust you will be caught with care. I wish I could rely on my family more for emotional support. Don't want to turn this into my sob story, but please know that you are not alone in this and here is a place you can find support and understanding.
