So here is the situation in Bulgaria: Hard anti-depression drugs are hard to come by, especially for people under 18. I am saying drugs, because those are not medications. I was on Atarax, which was the only thing I could get prescribed. It's for what I remember, anti-anxiety drug, but quote from my psychatrist "It will make you sleep. You won't get panic attacks, because you will be asleep. You wont be depressed, because you will sleep. You wont get psychotic, because you will be asleep.
Now while it did work in making me sleep (keep in mind I only drank half of the pill every other day and it still made me sleep) I got used to it, and after 3 months, it was as useful as those cheap melatonin tablets you sometimes get prescribed when you cannot sleep.
So with the words in mind that "That was the only thing that you can be prescribed" I decided to self medicate. And guess what, it's illegal. But so are all of the other medications that I was "prescribed" that had to be brought from abroad.
Let me tell you, I've been doing it for about 2 weeks, no signs of depression, no signs of mania, no signs of psychosis, no signs of this disturbing life that I lived.. no nightmares, no dream walking and talking, nothing! But saying that, I will get addicted to the effects weed has over me. I can fight addiction, again

But take this as a warning: Do not do this without someone watching over your actions.

I'm glad you are feeling better. Since it's illegal what are the chances and penalties for getting caught? I'm sorry they don't have better and more medications for people your age where you are. That's a tough situation. I hope things work out for you.

Thanks for this!

It's nothing bad, I will just go to jail, but then I have a great alibi, and I have a chance to be sent to a mental hospital, which at least will grand me a chance to have specialists by my side. To be honest jail doesn't even sound that bad. It's safer that what I am experiencing day to day..
