How do you know what hurts someone if they won't tell you? Sometimes I have a lot of empathy other times I don't. I think I'm getting better at more accurate guessing though. My former T (yawn) said "I have no empathy for you". Sweet, just sweet.

bad T, bad bad T  IDK fuzzy, what I do know is that I'm not a mind reader. I think guessing is what causes me problems.

I think so too. I didn't though, and doubt if I would have got anywhere even if I'd tried. Thanks for your reply! He said that at a particularly painful time for me, if I recall. Also before a long therapy break.
 Oh well. He did later say "sometimes you're more endearing than other times".... aren't we all?? And another "classic".... when I asked him about whether he cared about me he said "well, I can care for a carpet..................." .......
