I know it is not the same as having the support of a person you can physically touch, but I do care.

Thank you all so, so much. You're very nice. I just fall into this state of mind sometimes when the rain of depression really pours and it seems like no one around me can really understand or is even willing to try and understand my point of view. Even when I am listened to, it often seems like I'm not being heard. Sometimes I think about how my feelings have been dismissed and it's tough to get over that for me, especially after I have been very not dismissive when it came to the feelings of the very same people. Hard not to feel like my contributions/feelings/thoughts don't matter when this comes to mind.
Anyway, your replies have truly been helpful. Thank you. Means a lot.
