I realized that I have been chasing a dream. A dream that will never become reality. It really saved my life though. But now I have come crashing down. I know now that this thing I want so badly, will never ever happen.

As you give up the dream, you may feel sadness/grief.
How are you feeling?

I am so sad, depressed, hopeless. Like I will never be happy again.

Do you want to talk about what it was/is exactly that happened?

You likely need time to grieve and to adjust.

Please be kind to yourself during this difficult time.

Is there someone you can talk to about this?
Talking can help, if you are ready.

You can also write here if you wish.

I understand.
A loss is a loss and it hurts.
Please take good care of yourself.

I am feeling the same way. Reality hit me today like a pile of bricks and now I'm just greiving. I don't really know where to go from here.

Yes exactly. I hope you feel better soon. I can't escape this sadness.

The realization that a dream is over can bring a huge sense of loss and grief. I've experienced these losses before. Treat yourself gently and take adequate time to mourn. Talk about it when you can. Thinking of you.
Thanks for this!
