Maybe 2018 and 2019 will be redeeming years. But honestly! Do you think 2010 to 2017 has been good?

Pardon my language, but on a pro/con chart, 2010-2017 ****ing sucked. Only good thing to come out of it, personally, has been meeting my fiance.

I truly hope the next couple years will be better.

2010 was when my own adventures in depression started.

I consider 2009 my last "good year".

I do have a wonderful boyfriend who I'll be moving in with soon, so maybe the second half of 2017-2019 won't suck.

See my threads, dude.

Also, this decade has sucked for music and movies, but I guess it all comes down to taste. My dad was also recently diagnosed with cancer.

I think 2013 is my last time happy.

It began downgrading. And by late 2016 till now, it reached its lowest point again.

Wish this late 2017 or 2018 going to be my turning point.

I have had some good experiences definitely, but I think this decade has been marked by way too much stagnation and frustration for me overall. I've decided that 2017 is the year I make big changes. I can't tolerate this hamster wheel I seem to be stuck on anymore.

I did not mind 2017, but this past decade has been dull, like always. It is the same, repetitive cycle that recurs over and over and over again. Frankly, I have been tolerant, but I could never grow content with that same bland cycle, and still, I cannot. There were some remarkable stories released within this past year, though I cannot offer the same admiration for previous years (with a couple of decent stories here and there). As for American politics, they have become quite the circus, though at the same time, I somewhat appreciate the change -- it breaks the previous cycle to an extent.
Thanks for this!

Obviously I have gotten older in this decade. I feel like there's been stagnation in my life and not much excitement. There had been a few years in the past in this decade that I had health issues; including having cancer surgery. Before that, I never had any health problems whatsoever. It seems like my woes really began in 2008. Of course I do feel thankful that things haven't been real bad, but it has been a pretty dull decade for me.

The trends (or the Western World's culture) have been going downhill a whole lot. It's harder to financially make out good, there seems to be an increase in cancer, more personal divisions, and increased isolation with the technology that has come along - such as smartphones, twitters, etc.
