"You're strong" works when I feel strong, in my up moments (lately not much)
It doesn't work when down, then it feel like invalidation.
I have to believe it first to believe it when I hear it. The seed has to be there.
Otherwise we are strong, I believe

But it sucks when I need support for feeling down and I get the "you're strong" reply.

Then it feels like they don't listen.

I don't know. People do survive. You have.

Surviving can be agonising.
