Hello everyone, I’m not really sure about how this forum works, but I willing to try and learn.
I decided to join in order to feel less alone in this fight. I sometimes talk about depression with my girlfriend and best friend (they are the only people in my life actually… beside my parents). I decided to seek help only 2 weeks ago and I know that the waiting list is very long. I noticed that since when I asked for help my mind has started to produce new and never experienced feelings. Not in a good way though. It almost seems like there was a dam in my mind that I refused to acknowledge. This dam kept all the depressed feelings “bottled-up”, and sometimes a leak in the dam made me feel hopeless and depressed… Maybe 5 out of 7 days I was feeling very down, but the other 2 days were not that bad. Now that I acknowledged the dam all the feelings are flooding my mind, and I can’t feel nothing else. Just hopelessness.
I really hope to read your life-stories, to read about people that made it, that now feel better but also about people that feel like me.
Hope you have a good day!

That's a great reason to join. May you quickly start to feel less alone.

I'm sorry about the burst dam (super image), but I hope it works to your advantage in the long run.

Please make yourself at home.
