I don’t have an emotional support animal
![]() I need one, especially as I’m allergic to meds ![]() But I’m allergic to pets, I read everywhere how pets make all the difference, between life and death. I know ![]() I do have Ursida and I’m grateful I have her. She protects me. ((((( Ursida ))))))

As I just mentioned elsewhere, I've never had an actual emotional support animal. I have had a number of pets over the years, but they are independent living creatures with their own relationship ideas.
![]() I only have moderate allergies to most pet dander, so I used to just wash my hands a lot. But now, we have poison ivy issues -- especially in the roadside ditches which are township property. I am extremely sensitive to poison ivy and it can take weeks to recover. And since I personally consider confining the dog to the house for the rest of its life to be unkind and unfair, I'm now in the position of not being able to pat or touch the dog. It's sad, and I either have to get someone else to groom/check/tend to the dog or "suit up" to do so myself. Now she isn't that emotionally supportive or needy anyways. I guess she's pretty shallow actually. ![]() Oh, and there's the cat. The cat has bigger mental health issues than I do. Seriously, everything is purring and lightness and love until it suddenly isn't and she tries to claw your eyes out. I've had enough cats over the years to know all the triggers. I have no idea what's going on here, and I can hardly afford a cat psychologist. Mostly we just make nice noises towards each other from a safe distance now. ![]() If you don't mind answering, who is Ursida? |
