This isn’t a new topic
 but it’s one that is raised quite frequently especially by people in the uk.. when the professionals and “support workers” treat us badly, and even though they are supposedly trained, often for many years, to support, care and understand, they fail dismally,Is no support from “professionals” preferable to bad support. I tend to think so, for me anyway Maybe for them as well, I doubt if they would want to be mauled by a bear  Actually I’m not a violent person, I hate even using mean words, I just don’t comprehend their apparent lack of comprehension. Would they be so callous if we had a broken leg or cancer  I fear that some of them still wouldn’t care Actually I was treated appallingly by nurses when I had a broken leg too. Unbelievable Where are the good professionals in the uk. I’m sick of being bitten by incompetents while looking for the rare person who cares.  (Not about anyone on pc) __________________

I’m sorry you’ve had these experiences. It sounds like mental health care in the UK is particularly appalling.

I feel kind of selfish saying this but listening to your ongoing horror story with appalling care makes me want get down on my knees and thank the cosmos that I live in the U.S. and can afford good insurance.
I hate it that you have to go through this.! I have a friend in Norway who was bedridden with a back injury. He had to wait 2 YEARS before they considered his injury "bad enough" to deserve surgery.

I'm really sorry for what you've had to go through. The possibility of having competent mental health professionals should be a right in every part of the world.
