Those of us who actually need meds like Xanax I think can basically forget about it now. I know the epidemic is really bad across the country. For those of us that do not abuse a drug prescribed though will find impossible to get. Again punish the good for what the bad (not really just addicted) has done. I just don't get it why do I have to suffer because of them. Why can't something fair be set up. A doctor will not even talk about the possibility of prescribing because of all this. Guess what they will not take on a new patient if they feel it is going to be a issue. I do not actually have proof but am 95% confident of this statement. That is why I am so frustrated right now.

Yes, I live in the Southeast as well and they are really cracking down on benzos as well as opioids which is ridiculous. People really need benzos sometimes for severe anxiety and to my knowledge we’re not losing dozens of people a day from benzo od. My pharmacy even had the nerve to tell my doctor I was on too many benzos. Fortunately, I’m off everything (at my request) but 10 mg of Valium a day.

Trump signed a new bill yesterday I believe to crack down more on drugs plus provide more help for those that get addicted. That is great and everything but those of us who need these will find it much more difficult to get. I know for a fact that if I had made a big deal about my Xanax I have left from about a year ago I would not have gotten with this new primary doctor who is no more than 20 minutes away instead of a hour and a half from my previous one. I also have a pysch nurse practitioner that will not prescribe it. So when I have a major anxiety attack which I do rarely I will be screwed basically just not fair. At least for now I have enough for probably another half of dozen or so but after that oh well to bad so sad.

Jennifer you get I just moved south about a year ago so this is a new experience for me but nothing I can do about it.
