I recently found out I was pregnant, which I am very happy about in my heart.
I have been tapering off of almost all m6 medicine under the guidance of my psychiatrist. I am so uncomfortable, it's hard to be in my skin.
I had been in a Depression for a couple of months before this, and have actually been feeling somewhat better lately, however, today and yesterday have been so tough.

Hi, welcome to Psych Central.

Coming off medication can be difficult so don't give yourself a hard time about that. You'll be pleased to know pregnancy hormones tend to give a feeling of wellbeing so hopefully that will help the depression. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Sorry that you feel so down. To be pregnant can be a period with differnt and difficult feelings even if the child is wanted. On one hand one wants the baby. On the other hand one can become scared to not become a good enough mother and more ... That's quite normal! Look out for some relaxation exercises on youtube and use them. That will do both you and your unborn baby well.

I send my best wishes for you and the unborn baby!
Thanks for this!
