It doesn't get better.
I'm sick of hearing it does. When I go get a useless degree it won't get better. I'll always be miserable and suicidal. There is nothing on this Earth that will make me happy and worth staying alive for. I want to be dead. Everything is meaningless. There is NO purpose to life it's all ********.

Is there anything specific causing these feelings?

Sucks the most when you're depressed for that reason. I've done that too. Believe it or not - you do eventually come out of it.

Did it start at the change of seasons?

Nah I've felt this way for years. Just too scared of growing up, I guess.

I went thru depression for varying reasons - including yours - from ages 12 til now (age 43). Some reasons last for years, others only a few days. Depression is a fickle thing. May I ask how old you are?

Ugh - seventeen is a hard adjustment phase anyway.

Do you have friends at school?
