Thanks for this. Acutely sad and funny.

My depression has always tended more towards the painful rather than emotionless type, but I sure get this. The second one in particular. The moments of interacting with "helpful" and "normal" people were hilarious to me.

I have so been there and experienced that.

Hey Cepheid.

My own depression...is like...non-motivated, thinking negatively...I'm not emotionless. But I could relate to it too. It reminded me of how I felt in college, a long time ago (which was pretty bad, and numb, because I didn't have the words for what was happenening to me, and I didn't want it to be happening), and it also helped me to understand how some people feel during depression could be different from my own currently. It just helped give me empathy towards the other types and experiences of depression. It was also funny and realistic and I love that. (birthday...hair is spiders...everything is spiders...)
