Well... I don't know. It sounds pretty normal to me.

To be honest this doesn't sound like depression. Typically depression continues inspite of who is around.

That being said can you spend more time with friends or take up a hobby while your boyfriend is not around? Something to occupy your time and have some fun.

I think it's very normal for you to be sad when he's not around..I'm going through the same thing but the relationship I was in wasn't healthy so I have had to remove myself from the situation..I love him very much so this is really hard to deal with, day to day. I normally spend every minute with him(for the last 2 years) and now I don't see him and rarely hear from him. I hope with time I can get past this..Good luck with your sadness.

I live with chronic depression and chronic pain. I often feel a little better when my husband is around. I think it's normal to feel a bit of relief when someone we love is around. We were not meant to isolate, in my opinion; even so, I do like my alone time.

I think it's normal; however, you have to learn to be happy with yourself, withouth relying too much on other people.
