Promethazine for short term use
If you can get Melatonin it can help but smaller doses are better than large (under 1mg) |

I use melatonin to sleep. I find it puts me to sleep in an hour or so after I take it.

The main ingredient in OTC sleep aid is the antihistamine in Benadryl. So I try that, usually 50mg. Any more than that and I have to get up to pee every 20 minutes for some reason.
