I’m sorry you feel like you’re sinking. Has anything happened to trigger it?

I hope you feel better

I had a nice reprieve from depression for a long time. I think everything is just crashing down on me. On the day I posted this I had an unexpected severe argument with a co-worker. This is the last semester of school and it is the hardest. I feel like my brain is not absorbing the material. I have one class that entails reading five chapters per week, with tests, and graded discussion essays.

My job at the dry cleaners is easy and I have known the people there for a long time. The young girl I supervise gets offended easily. I try not to upset her or hurt her feelings. Overall, she is a good worker. She got very angry with me last week and then we just ended up in an argument.

On top of everything, my husband's business is not doing well and he refuses to look for a job. I am the bookkeeper for his failing business. It doesn't seem to bother him at all if he makes no money.

Just stressed and I feel like have 10 drinks. That's not right to say but that is how I feel.

Thank you everybody for your support. It helps to talk to others. Earlier today I hated myself, and hated my life.

That sounds like a lot to deal with, sounds overwhelming. It’s no wonder you are feeling stressed right now. I hope things will get easier for you soon. Keep posting here, you are not alone

I can totally relate to those feelings of self hatred, it’s horrible

Hi waterknob

It certainly does sound like you have a lot piling up on you so very understandable if you're finding it hard!!
I know it might not help much but sometimes "one day at a time" can help or just breaking down the issues and trying to focus on just one at a time...........as well as trying to give yourself a little "you" time if/when you can..........
So hoping that the girl you work with was "just" having a "off" day/week.........and she gets back on track..........and the studying...........maybe your brain is absorbing more than you're realising/giving yourself credit for?? Afterall I do know that you don't always give yourself credit for how smart you are
And kind of study plan you have/can put together though can be a bonus.........
