no ones listening and I tried looking for a therapist online, but they all look shady and dubious. I don't trust them with my problems or my solutions. Why the hell would I?

Do any of them look worth trying out with, for example, a brief telephone interview? Or some email conversation?

I bet that some of them (at, say, the Psychology Today website) are good. I agree that it would take some time to identify one of the good ones.

Well their professional responsibility and skill is to help people get better. The ones with a lot of experience have been helping people get better for many years. They have a good track record.
