They said alone was necessary. They said it had to be done to save everyone else from this plague. No one said the plague would consume me after loneliness took over. So ****ing alone. No one seems to understand when they're around me, just how far away they really are. No one understands... maybe that's where the loneliness originated.
I was lonely before you left. They said it was normal. They said I was deserving of such a punishment. I won't ask what the crime was for this sentence to be lifelong. I know, I know I deserve the deepest circle of hell. You asked the question once, "Why?" Shame overtook me and my mouth shut tight while my shoulders shrugged. They said you don't deserve such a evil doer like me. They said that you left because even though you didn't know, you knew. You knew I was no good for you... for anyone. My blood on your hands, wash yourself free from me. Know that I wish I could do the same. My hell binds me to myself. By myself I will serve my sentence. They say my sentence will be finished at the end of eternity. If only eternity would end. But never say that I didn't love you.

Been a few days, before it was a month... time doesn't seem to matter. They say it hurts. They tell me how to end it. And I'm fighting, arguing against them, but it was so much easier with you by my side. I fight these demons alone now, it's probably for the best. I just wish I had someone. Someone to keep me steady while I break.
I break alone now, like it was always meant to be. They've dug in and I can't fight them anymore. "I'm not brave anymore, darling." They were digging in with you beside me, but they're so deep now. I can't just pull them out. This isn't a poison you can extract. It's a life. A new life. Whether I want it or not.

I have a few more hours of freedom before I get taken to the hospital. If I'm admitted, I probably won't be back for a bit. I'm really not doing good guys, so I appreciate everyone being here.
