Why can’t everyone be kind, caring and thoughtful.. like so many are here
 They say things like “pull yourself up by your bootstraps”  There are no perks, no “benefits” to this unrelenting anxiety and depression... I’d much rather be “getting on with my life” and not “whining” or ranting on the Internet... I wish I could “get by” in silence, but I can’t ... and I can’t hurt Papa Bear But maybe I do anyway.  Surely it’s hibernation time .....

 I pulled the bootstraps till they broke, and then the boots fell apart.Some of us need a space where we don't have to "censor" our words, a place where we can say things that don't conform to therapeutic orthodoxy. You are using words, dear Fuzzybear. And that is very, very good.  ((((((( Fuzzybear )))))))

My brain chooses a fulfilling and normal life, if only my body would agree...
When the motherboard is broken, it doesn't matter what choices we make.... It's CBT that makes people believe that we have a choice. Somehow we are all just thinking incorrectly. People and even medical professionals have no idea....
