I don't feel as depressed as I did last week. Maybe it's because I have so many things going on. Also, I caught the flu from a co-worker so I physically feel like garbage. Sunday I pulled off a baby shower for my pregnant daughter while running a fever. I see the doctor Monday. I am coughing so much at night I cannot sleep. I am exhausted.

I had a job interview today that went well. The problem is, I now have to figure out if I want the job. It would be a job selling life insurance. I did not apply for this job, and I don't have the pushy salesperson mentality. The salary looked good but I am not sure this is for me.

Meanwhile, the elderly manager at my current job had a stroke and is in the hospital, so I have had to learn how to do some of his tasks. It breaks my heart that he is so ill. This man is like a father to me. Everybody misses him.

I miss my dog Buddy who passed away September 10. Lately, a neglected dog has been showing up at my house. I feed him and give him water. He won't let me get too close because he doesn't trust people. Today he let me pet him.

Life is throwing all kinds of things my way. Now I am trying to figure out what to do. I will adopt this dog if I can work it out.

The flu sucks. I had it a couple of weeks ago.

Personally, I suck at selling things, and a lot of those jobs pay with commission, so if you can't sell you don't earn much.

I hope you can adopt the dog.

Change can be bittersweet. It’s so very hard to let go of loved ones like your dear Buddy. ❤️ Congrats to you on the new arrival and possibly a new job... and maybe a new pup. I hope you can enjoy the lovely blessings in your life and the new opportunities while also giving yourself space to grieve. I wish you all the best. (((((HUG))))) ❤️
