Hi everyone!
Just wanting to know how you live and not do things like sleep, laze around, watch movies, and whatnot.

Hello. A warm welcome to PC. It’s all too easy for me to fall into activities like that so I purposely have to schedule things/goals that I deem help me to “live”. Many times I have to force myself and I’m not always successful but it has definitely helped me make progress.

There’s an accountability thread here if that’s helpful at all. It does get easier.

Hi, Shi m,

I find going for walks, quite long walks, is a good habit to get into. It's healthy in a number of respects and can energize you to begin working on other areas that might need ironing out, as well.

And welcome to PC, Shi m. Nice to see you on the forums.

I spend a lot of time sleeping.

But, in order to live, I also go to school full time, work two part time jobs, and play on a bowling league. I also like to travel quite a bit although it can be hard with work and school.

I think you have to make the time for things that are important to you, and when you’re dealing with depression, force yourself to do them whether you feel like it or not (I have a very hard time with this too.)

I need to have a schedule or I will sleep all day. I work full-time and try to find stuff to do every day after work.
