My medication adjustments seem to have been helping, but the past few days I feel my depression slipping in a bit more again. It's the sadness feelings, when you just feel like crying but can't, and have no specific situational triggers for the feelings. I try to keep up on current events, as best I can, but it has been really disheartening recently. Not triggering, per se, but just hot helpful in my attempts to occupy myself and distract myself from the depression.
With the world seemingly going to ****, politically, socially, and environmentally, keeping updated on the news just makes me feel sad enough as it is, apart from the depression. So many tragic deaths making headlines as well. My heart goes out to those who have been left behind and for those who have been taken from us. I may have to just sit and watch a fluffy holiday movie or something. |

I don't read the newspaper, watch the news on TV, or follow it on the internet. Most of the time I have no idea what's going on in the world. I'm old. I won't be here that much longer & there's nothing I can do about any of it.

Sometimes taking a time out from the news can be a good thing. Like here in CA with all the wild fires. It's scary and stressful. I like your idea of watching a holiday movie. Something good to take your mind off of things. Kit.
