It's been a nice day. I did start my car and let it run for 15 minutes. I haven't driven it for a while and I didn't want the battery to die. So I felt like I accomplished one thing. Tomorrow I will clean the litter boxes. Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

I’m going to work on being active for the rest of the day since depression is creeping in. I’m going grocery shopping and then I’m going to work on my bedroom for a couple of hours then I’m going to read a self help book. Hopefully that will get me out of the rut.

Warm wishes to all.

I cleaned off my kitchen counters and I cleaned out the fridge. I'm going to rest now. Tomorrow, I don't know. I'll see how it goes. Hope everyone is doing well.

So wise! It is exactly what it is about; to understand the difference between when we need to rest and when it might be dangerous to rest!

Good Luck!

I cooked a casserole, did laundry and ordered groceries. Today I plan to clean the litter box and wash dishes.

I quit working out consistently and eating well when my family members became ill/injured and I was caring for them. Today, I am going to get my surroundings and mind back in line in order to start back tomorrow. This means I’m going to pack my gym bag, inventory my groceries...throw out the junk and grocery shop for healthy food, straighten up the house (an untidy house impacts my mood) and get to bed by 9:30 in order to make the 5:30 A.M. exercise class. Fingers crossed.

Warm wishes to all.

I have had brunch with friends today and participated in voluntary work. Am tired. Even if I feel too tired to plan for tomorrow I will make a try.

Plans for Tuesday:

- After breakfast and hygiene: Do the dish wash
- Put on the washing machine
- Make a list of what I need to buy in the grocery shop
- After the grocery; eat and then go for a 20 minutes walk
- Rest a bit
- Try to make a list to follow for the rest of the day

Best wishes and hopes for each one of you!

I did another grocery shop this morning. Then I slept all day. I wasn't feeling well.

I am going to clean house today as my daughter will be home for spring break soon. Yay!! I’m also going to run errands and make some calls. I’m going to keep as busy as possible today as I had a friend die unexpectedly from unknown causes Sunday and I need to stay busy and distracted.

Warm wishes to all.

I managed to take a shower and I changed the sheets on my bed. Today I may put laundry away. It just depends on how I feel. Mainly I want to relax. No pressure.

I ended up doing two loads of laundry and doing prep work in the kitchen. I'm done for the day. I plan to relax now. Tomorrow I see my med provider.

Sorry for the loss of your friend! It can be wise to distract from "depressing thoughts". My experience is, however, that if we jump over the grief when somebody dies, it will come back later.

May be it can be wise to set a time limit for the grief of your friend. Example: "From 06:00 pm to 06:45 I will think about the loss of NN. Then I will drink a cup of tea while playing relaxing music. 07:00 pm I am going to run in the park and after that see the News".

It was only an idea. I usually look at pictures and remember them, let my tears free and say prayers for them. As a catholic I can do that. May be you, who are not catholic, can pray for the mourning relatives of the dead person instead.

I need to be strict with my borders when somebody dies as well, but I never jump over the grief.

Just my suggestions ... Whatever you choose, I hope it works for you!
Best wishes!

Yesterday was quite a day. I woke up to a very windy weather and lots of rain. I felt tired and allowed myself to have a day of rest. (Did none of my items for the day). I really needed the rest.

This morning the sun shines and I am on my way out for a walk. Afterward I will do all the items from yesterday!

Good wishes and hopes for each one of you!

I put groceries away and cleaned a litter box. Today I will take out the trash and probably clean another litter box.

I took the trash out and opened packages. That's it for me today. I'm tired. I'm going to relax now. Tomorrow we'll see what happens.
