Gratitude?

Today I am thankful for:
A son who will hang out with his mom
A car that works
Sunshine
My alpaca sweater
Fried potatoes

I am grateful this depression lifted because I did everything I could to fight for myself.

Today I am grateful for:

some happy thoughts which popped into my mind today without being summoned!
a delicious breakfast
my 52 Lists for Happiness notebook
my body supporting me each day and night
my ability to go hiking

Thank you Universe for the gift of another day to be alive and explore Earth

yesterday I had a filling meal.

for the first time in days

I ordered takeout from the new pizza place that opened up, and it was tasty (meat feast with chicken wings)

plus I didn't have to cook- score

litirally all I can think of for today.. all I've really done

Up and out.

A supportive wife
Supportive family
Able to work (barely!)
That I have had some good periods this last 18 months (mostly nights)
The 10 years in between episodes during which I was asymptomatic (meaning there is hope for the future)

I am grateful for:

the contributions of PC folks on this thread and others
my body for getting me through my exercise and supporting me day and night
a rare ibuprofen pill for taking the edge off some inflammation
the love, patience, and generosity of my significant other
change (the positive and the negative...propelling me through Life)

Thank you Universe for the gift of another day to explore Earth

I am grateful for:

The gift of a new day.
My iPhone which I use for many, many things.
My annual two week trip to Florida (dreaming of warmer weather and thought of this).
Watching the planes come in and go out from a major airport (it’s surprisingly soothing. I get a hotel room near the airport and watch for hours).
Again, my beloved daughter.
My family’s improving health.

I am greatful for seeing my friend and getting some redl ipstick from her.

getting my amazon alexa (because it is pretty awesome actually)

warmth because it's freezing outside

Being referred back to PT for my right hand to get it up to par.
Jamocha milkshakes.
Taking off my shoes at the end of a long day and just wiggling my toes.
The beauty of art and music.
Having my own transportation.

Good For You. It’s not easy to keep fighting when you feel like crap. And so wonderful you’re doing better.

Hard for me to feel grateful being so sick.

But I am grateful for the friend who bought Pedialyte for me after 2 other friends I thought I was closer to turned me down.

So sorry you're ill D&L. I hope it's not something serious. Yes, focus on the friend who brought the Pedialyte rather than the ones who did not. It can be hard but I've found in my own life that the folks who step up for me in a time of crisis are often not the ones I would have predicted. Peace and healing energy to you. You deserve it.

The fact that I can drive sooner after this hip surgery than the last one

Today I’m grateful for:

Raspberries (borrowed this one. So good!).
Blackberries.
French toast.
The weekend. No doctor or PT appointments.
Purple and rainbow striped reading glasses.
A clean house.

I'm greatful for all the snow we had today

I love the snow. not only does it make everything look like a sceen out of Narnia, but it makes a lovely sound like rain when it falls.

I'm greatful for warmth, and not being outside slipping and risking injury.
