I’m grateful for:

Snuggling with my dog.
Windy, sunny 77 degree days like yesterday. Glorious!
Freshly baked banana bread.
Blueberry cobbler flavored coffee with Snickers flavored creamer.
My family.

I am grateful

to my Self for doing her best to get through a tough time
for the breakfast my S.O. made
for daylight
that a rough night has ended
for the kind call from a relative to check-in with me

Thank you Universe for the gift of another day of Life

Today I am grateful

that I remained calm during a meeting which made me feel very angry
for my TCM doctor...his knowledge and empathy
for food to eat
that there's always another chance to sleep even after a night of insomnia
for the kindness of strangers...never ceases to amaze and inspire me

Thank you Universe for allowing me to stick around another day

A beautiful orchid I received today.
My daughter coming to town unexpectedly.

I’m grateful the day is over since it was rainy, gray, gloomy, cold, irritating, and happy to be sitting with my sweet dog just relaxing.

I'm not suggesting that gratitude is a cure but I do find that it helps. If you try it, I recommend writing down your list in the same notebook/document each day. The next time you're having a dark day...you can pull out your list and remind yourself of all that goodness and hopefully feel better! You can also share/practice with others in your home or workplace...on a day when someone is finding it hard to feel grateful, you can invite them to read someone else's list.
Yes. This is a part of positive psychology. You can always write a note for future you and say something like this "thank you for doing laundry" and laundry will not be a chore any more or just say "you made wonderful lunch" . It works.

I am greatful for my creative mind.

as I just wrote in another thread, my newest creative writing peace features a gir who bites a football (it's not the main plot, the main plot is to do with abuse) but even come up with a girl who bites a football is a big thing for me.

I am grateful

to have completed the first step in a very long process
for chocolate
for Sugar-Free Red Bull through a brightly colored straw (yes, I know it is really unhealthy but lifts my mood and hopefully once in a while won't hurt )
for the empathy and connection of other humans in this world
for peace and quiet

Thank you Universe for another precious day of Life

I am VERY thankful that I found a credit card I thought was lost and now won’t have to cancel it. It was being used for a number of automatic payments, so finding it will save me a good deal of grief.
