I was suppossed to leave for Buenos Aires last week but cancelled due to a mixed state that has become depression. I'm an American and lived there for three years and have a life there.
I also have an invitation from a friend that I consider like a brother who wants me to stay at his house in Mexico City until I feel better. I know how to find healthcare abroad. Dr's. are good in both places. My pdoc here just quit so I'm a little without help. I'm an expat psychologist so being abroad is professionally my thing and gives me insight into whats going on with me. I suspect most here will tell me don't go but I think it might actually be just what the doctor ordered. |

I am not an expert on your life but I know that I want to go where I feel good and welcomed. So, just do the inventory of you hearth and go where hearth wants.. ignore brain it is too rational...

If it were me, I would totally go. Either place. You have the knowledge and skills to handle yourself and access health care. Your doc here just quit so it’s not like you’re further ahead.
I would just say if you’re on meds make sure you have a solid three month supply before leaving and find health care as soon as you get there. |
