I dream about friends long gone... those who helped me, those who pitied me. One person in particular a lot. Don't know why but he constantly comes in my dreams... I remember today's dream, the background was of my college. One of my favorite professors told us to get our lab records (journals) checked and so he was sitting in front of me. I asked him whether he wants a new motorcycle, to which he, in a different voice rather than his real life one (I've not seen him for a good year but I remember it wasn't his voice) "Yes, of course" and told another kid to help me when needed.

It all seems bizarre, because it is. I don't remember what happened next but it was also me being anxious and neurotic and there was Doraemon in it...

Don't know, anyone experiences these types of dreams? It's not like the person in my dream and I were super close friends, it was just that he was a little bit there for me in a tough situation at a tough academic year, a very rough time for me in my life, perhaps the most rough time. The year made me lost my self-confidence and actually taught me how making friends, socializing, partying and hanging out is actually very important. Cause if you are not like the others, you'll be asked 'What's wrong with you?' and even humiliated in front of others.
Thanks for this!

You're probably just thinking about things, times and people that had an impact on you. It shows up in your dreams.

Unless the dream keeps recurring with the same scenario and dialog, I wouldn't spend too much time dwelling on it. The specific details are often just an assortment of stuff that your dreaming mind pulls together. The details (such as the motorcycle) may not necessarily mean much of anything at all.

Other people have differing experiences, but personally, I find the emotional tone of the dream to almost always be the key to what my mind is up to. The details are always just random details that keep changing.

So your dream could simply be manifesting your current anxiety and themes that are running through your mind.

I don't know if this really helps. But, before the symbolic analysis crowd tells you what it *must* mean ... well, maybe ... but sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. (somebody once said )
