I want to share a unique way of looking at depression. I will first say that I have been dealing with my own depression since childhood. It's only been in the last year or so that I am finding new ways to think and feel about depression and its influence on me. You may not agree with the speaker in the video. He is coming from a very different angle. I only share this in case some folks would like to hear a different perspective or may even find it useful. I certainly do not want to offend anyone. If you don't like the ideas, no problem. Each to their own!
I only ask that we don't have a heated argument about it. These are just someone's ideas. We can agree or disagree. I found his thoughts helpful for myself and my goals. But I would never assume that others would or should view their depression in the way that I do or in the way that the speaker does. And as I said, these are new ideas for me too! Peace to all.
