Hi all,

The last 9 months have been really hard. I have experienced four deaths (2 of whom I was extremely close to), difficulties with a supervisor that involved getting higher ups involved, and now this morning I accidentally hit someone (who was on a bicycle) while I was driving. It was a minor accident as I was not going more than 5 mph as I was turning but I feel awful for him. What if he canÂ’t get to work now? What is he needs physical therapy and canÂ’t work? I know how it is to have to go to physical therapy and be in pain at work and I just end up feeling like such a bad person because this guy may have to go through this. My mind will just run this over and over and I canÂ’t stand it. I donÂ’t know what to do to just give myself some relief from my thoughts and anxieties. I have been getting very depressed over the past two months especially. It seems like every month there is a new major stressor and they wonÂ’t stop coming. How does everyone else deal with things like this?

I'm sorry you are encountering all of these difficulties. It's been a couple of days now since you posted this. Hopefully things are beginning to calm down a bit for you. I don't know as I have any particularly creative suggestions to offer. However here are links to 4 articles, from PC's archives, that (hopefully) may be of some help:

I am sorry that you lost close people around you. That is hard by itself without additional stress like an accident.

The accident might not be your fault at all. What if that person was under the influence of drugs and alcohol?
Recently, my neighbor was hit by a car while he was driving a bike. it was not the driver's fault at all because my neighbor was drunk and he was driving a bike without lights during night. The driver could not see him
s.. happens ... life happens...
What? Time will be the judge.
