Why do you post on pc?

For me, it’s because I want to connect with others and, I guess make a “contribution” to a hopefully fairer world where people with MI are not so heavily stigmatised and mistreated. I like supporting the lovely people on pc.

Hugs and respect to all

because I litirally have no one else to tell my problems too and hardly any friends away from this site

and it helps me know that I'm also helping others

being stigmatised a lot myself, (growing up and still), it's nice to know that I'm doing some good

also it's a good distraction when I need it

To vent, help others, maybe pick up some good advice myself.

Searching for some relief and answers... identifying with others in the same boat and helping in whatever ways I can. This is something not even loners can face alone, it seems.

Thank you so much for making this thread, Fuzzybear! I'm here on PC to find support and to support others who are struggling! PC is full of caring, wonderful people and I'm so proud to be among all of you! You're all wonderful people and you deserve as much support as you can get! Keep fighting! Sending many hugs to you, Fuzzybear, and to everyone else, including all of you wonderful people here on PC!

I joined PC not knowing what to expect. I had already struggled with MI issues for a decade and wanted to see if there were any benefits in interacting with others through an MI-focused social media platform.

For me, reading others' experiences lends some perspectives on my own, and PC in general gets me "out of myself."

I joined to find some answers, and connect with people that are going through something similar. And help others too

definitely to share, learn and support everyone here with mental illness. PC is an amazing resource for me. I sometimes don't know who to turn to, and I'm glad I stopped procrastinating and joined in.

love and best wishes to all!
