"She told me I was nothing and it hurt." Especially when I used to be "everything". It was all a lie. It was all ********. There was never love there and I was a fool to "see" it.

It must be true. Everyone picked you. Save the one that really matters. The one who knew more of the truth than even I did. The one who held me through the pain. The one who tells me I'm enough. Too bad you killed my trust and I can't cease anticipating the inevitable, "You're nothing to me."

What can I say? It is beyond horrible. Beneath contempt. And so, so human.

And it has absolutely nothing to do with your innate worth. You were not ultimately created by whomever that was, and they are not qualified to determine your worth.

I also appreciate how nearly impossible it is to feel good about yourself when someone close has turned on you like that.
