I used to always sing (aloud)
"What would you do, Where would you go, What would you be, If you could be me?" (I usually skipped that last line and just hummed it when ppl were around) It always brought me peace .. bc I Thought "these people don't have half a clue what it is to be me." Another one I sang was similar - but I was able to sing it in front of people. "Where would would I go What would I say What would I do If I ran away" I sang that a lot when I was wanting freedom from the abuse I was in at the time. Nobody understood why I sang it, just thought it was another oddity about me - so it was a safe way of releasing stress.
