When it comes to a stranger walking down the street or one I am talking to on the phone when I used to work in a call center--"Machoness" that certain kind of male swagger that exudes from the way they stand, walk, and look at you when in person. On the phone, there is something about some men's voices that screams macho--these men are big flirts on the phone.

When it comes to the men in my life--humor. In second place comes tolerance. I would never be married as long as I have if my partner wasn't tolerant of my weaknesses.

I have it narrowed down to three: smart, kind and sense of humor. I’d have a hard time just picking one of the three.

I am mostly thinking of my gfs before I was married though whenever I see my sister, we never sit around doing nothing. My adventures now mostly involve trying new jobs (I am always switching them around, just signed a contract for teaching online --it will likely be less than 20 hours a week and less than that at first. I am at the end of my Spring temp job which I should be doing right now and have another part time one.)
Before we had kids, my husband and I had a lot of adventures and are hoping to do that again when he retires. We hope to RV part time.

Switching jobs often sounds like a very good way to prevent burnout. I like that idea. I have a friend who does that via travel jobs....short-term positions. He seems to get a real kick out of it.

I think it's fantastic that you and hub enjoy adventures together...marvelous way to reinforce your union. Hope that retirement happens soon
Thanks for this!

If I've been around a person who says "like" every other word, I start saying it too frequently, also.

In general, though, my overused phrase is, "in general." Generally.
