My birthday was Dec. 8. I have been diagnosed with major
depression. My sister is bi-polar , but lately has only has
been acting high mood, with extreme anger to everyone.

I love my sister very much, but I have been crying for 2 days. My eyes are swollen. I was so depressed and feel as if
God has abanded my prayers . I have tried to be with her & support her as much as I can. Well , I had to tell my family, that I can no longer do this. I had a crappy birthday, because I didn't feel like going out.

Thanks for listening.Could you please say a prayer
for my sister & her beautiful two kids?Last I heard, which was yesterday, she called me collect from jail again.
She wanted my dad to bail her out for $ 5,000.
If God is really testing my faith, he is doing a great job. :sad: :

It is so dificult to take care of ourselves when family members are having problems. But sometimes we just have to step back to work on ourselves. You are important too.

Well, you can always have a belated birthday party

Besides, you don't have to go out on your birthday. Just take some time for yourself if you need it. I'm sure you deserve it!

Happy belated birthday. I was admitted to a hospital because I was taking care of everyone but me and my body, mind and soul said enough! I had to learn in order to care for others, I must first care for myself.. Trust your God to take care of your sister. He is trusting you to take care of you first.

Thanks again for the support, these last few days have been horrible. I had to remind my family that I could no longer accept her behavior. It is a VERY BAD TRIGGER
POINT.

My family agreed that I needed to stay away, because I was
hysterical. I cried for 2 days.
I realized that I have to take care of myself first.
Well the latest is that she is in a pysc jail hospital. No one
knows what is going to happen after her court date, or how to follow through.

I spoke to my dr. and she told me if I continued to speak about certain negative things,that she would have to put me in the hospital .

Well I just want thank everyone who responded to my post.
