I can't stop crying, I suffer from depression and chronic pain due to a back injury and today is a bad day. It hurts to move etc, we're going away in 2 days, have work men coming in while we're away, have new furniture arriving, need to get rid of one of my favourite pieces of furniture because we have more work being done when we get back from our holiday. The house is a mess, my partner has illnesses so isn't able to help much everything is down to me to sort out. I'm so overwhelmed and now my partner has told me that he's tired and needs leaving alone and when I started crying got told I needed to stop or he'd get annoyed. I've taken myself to another room and now I can't stop crying.

HUGS @BDPpartner, I'm sorry today is so hard for you. Crying can be cathartic. But not always. Does it seem to be releasing anything or just making things worse? Can you try to do something nice for yourself? Warm shower, light a nice candle, put nice lotion on, etc. HUGS Kit

Normally a good cry helps but today I think I am so aware that it is likely to cause trouble with my partner that it's just making me really anxious. Fingers crossed I should get a little bit of help with jobs tomorrow and maybe even a hug so that is something to positive about. I guess today I am struggling to wear my happy mask that hides how the I really feel. I just wish I could be happy and bubbly for real.

Sometimes we need time out, to work through our feelings. I understand your anxiety around crying. I struggle to cry and that causes me anxiety too. I am sending hugs |
